端足类无法抑制富营养化潟湖——筼筜湖石莼(Ulva lactuca)生物量的积累

Amphipods fail to suppress the accumulation of Ulva lactuca biomass in eutrophic Yundang Lagoon

  • 摘要: 总生长效率(GGE)指的是消费者的净产量占其摄食量的比值.本研究首次应用总生长效率的定义估算了端足类对富营养化沿岸潟湖——厦门市筼筜湖大型绿藻石莼(Ulva lactuca)生物量的摄食控制作用.端足类是筼筜湖大型底栖动物的绝对优势类群(82.2%~98.7%),调查共发现强壮藻钩虾(Ampithoe valida)、上野蜾蠃蜚(Corophium uenoi)、平掌拟钩虾(Grammaropsis laevipalmata)、日本大螯蜚(Grandidierella japonica)以及尖额麦秆虫(Caprella panantis)5种端足类.不过,在这5种端足类中,仅强壮藻钩虾能明显的摄食大型海藻.因此,为了估算筼筜湖端足类对大型海藻的摄食量,本研究利用体长频数法(size frequency method)估算了强壮藻钩虾的次级生产力并利用室内实验研究了不同温度(15℃,20℃,25℃和30℃)强壮藻钩虾的GGE与体长的相关关系.结果显示,强壮藻钩虾的月种群产量介于2.39~13.68g/m2.GGE随着体长的增加呈指数性降低且和水温存在显著的相关关系.因此,利用不同月份的平均水温数据,本研究拟合了调查期间各月强壮藻钩虾的GGE与其体长的关系.根据总生长效率的定义,计算出强壮藻钩虾对石莼的月摄食量介于86.7~1549.0g/m2,占石莼生产量的2.0~37.5%.本研究的结果表明,强壮藻钩虾能显著减少石莼生物量的积累,但仅在丰度较高的2~4月份起作用,且它无法抑制筼筜湖石莼的生长.强壮藻钩虾低的丰度以及筼筜湖高的营养负载可能是筼筜湖石莼绿潮的主要原因.
