Morphology of four Miliolinella species (Foraminifera, Protozoa) with description of a new species, Miliolinella obesa nov. spec., from the tropical West Pacific Ocean

  • 摘要: 本研究借助远程遥控潜水器(ROV),于2014年和2016年分别对热带西太平洋深海海山和海底的有孔虫底泥进行了采集。利用形态学研究的标准方法,对小粟虫属的四种有孔虫Miliolinella obesa,M.circularis,M.suborbicularisM.subrotunda进行了分类学研究,确定其中M.obesa为新种。该新种是小粟虫属中体型较大的成员(体长约达500 μm),其最突出的特征在于体型十分矮胖且横宽,尤其是其体宽大于体长。此外,该种区别于其他已知种的特点还包括,新种的房室界限在外观上模糊不清,壳体一面模糊可见3个房室,另外一面仅见2个房室。本文对于有孔虫Miliolinella属的四个种均给出了细节详尽的分类学图版和生态学分布信息。
